About the project

Stjerneskuddet is an integrated childcare institution for children aged 1-6 years. The playground is divided into areas providing space for both riding a bike, playing ball, climbing and sand digging. All of this without risking accidents.

The old climbing frame was replaced, and the paths on the playground were changed along with the fall surface.

The Globe at Stjerneskuddet

The globe is a nice little playhouse high up and connected to the rest of the playground via a climbing net, a firepole and an arm travelling bridge. The larch wood globe is painted in water-based wood preservation, complete with each and every sea and continent of the world. And up through the middle of the globe, there is a small hoist for sand and water.

A long wooden cycling path with crash barriers and exit turns curves its way along the fence around the globe. It is fun to ride a bike here.
